Eramold IML Plastic Injection Molding Production

What is Injection Molding?

Injection molding is one of the most beautiful technologies for finished fabrication at perfect scale. It is also useful for samples of finished first products used for consumer or product trial.
During manufacturing;
During manufacturing, plastic materials in the form of small particles are melted and injected into metal molds processed with superior sensitivity. Thus, while many plastic parts are produced with one metal mold, each part is produced with the same quality.
Injection mold making;
Injection mold making is done by experts.

It consists of two stages;

  1. Design
  2. Manufacturing

An injection machine has 3 sections;

  • Vice Section
  • Injection Section
  • Mold Section

All three parts work as stakeholders, and plastic products emerge with the melted raw material poured into the injection mold. One of the biggest advantages of injection molds is rapid production. For manufacturing companies, plastic raw material is very profitable because it is low cost and fast production is made.

Plastic materials used in injection molds;

  • Polypropylene
  • Polycarbonate
  • Polyethylene
  • Low density polyethylene
  • High density polyethylene
  • Polyvinyl Chloride
  • Polystyrene
  • Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene
  • Polysulfone

Advantages of plastic injection;

  • Less cost
  • Compliance with automation
  • No need for the last machining process
  • Fast manufacturing
  • Suitability for the production of parts in different shapes, colors and different surfaces
  • Minimum material loss
  • Ability to manufacture different products in the same mold
  • Ability to work even in small tolerances
